The church believes in and practices benevolence. Anytime anyone in the community has a major fire in their home, the leaders deliver a check for $500 within 24 hours. Two weeks later a special love offering is received on Sunday morning and everything over the $500 already given will be delivered to the family. On the final Sunday of each year, the total day's offering goes into the Benevolence Fund to help people.
There is a very active and alert Benevolent Committee which meets several other needs in the community. We are known as the church that cares.
A college tuition fund helps pay on the tuition of any member of the church attending a loyal Bible College. It begins at $850 the freshman year and each year goes up until the senior will receive $1,350.
The congregation has hosted and taught five Bible College interns.
The preacher has put out a two or three page newsletter almost weekly for the past 45 years.
The church has a large book, video, cassette tape, CD, and DVD library open and available to the community.
